level to the ground all round ... otherwise you get the ass in the air look - not good.

arse in the air is actually a really good way to dial out understeer and make a car more biased towards oversteer. For people that are capable of handling a car on the edge this is quite desirable.

I'd suggest hub to guard measurment.
My vt was level to the ground all round but the front guard looked so much higher and therefore made it look like the arse was sagging.

In my ute i've gotten (within 5mm) hub to guard level and it looks so much better.

I don't have an understeer problem.

I don't have an understeer problem.

never said you did. All im saiying is rasied rear ride height is an effective way to induce oversteer and thus reduce understeer.

For what its worth, when piss farting around with 4wd suspension (have done a few), we always go from wheel arch to the lower edge of the rim. That way tyre inflation does not come into account. But we do run HUGE tyres that make a big difference. Can't see why you shouldn't do the same for a car, albeit it will only make a few millimetres difference, not inches. To the hub is the same theory, just slightly harder to get an exact measurement. This is how suspension alterations are correctly measured.

Not a good height. It will be slammed on the bumpstops even with a short strut. I dont think youll even get it that low. How much suspension travel do you have now?

its not to bad mate at the 335 mm hub to guard so like 15 mm want make a diff plus upgrading struts etc

Upgrade the struts to whatever you want, its still going to slam on the bumpstops and handle shite! oh and also make sure you still have shaft float in the rear end, or start counting down the km's until your diff lets go....dont be alarmed, it will generally go around the 100kph mark, which wont be a problem because your rear tyres will hold it to the road instead of spearing you off the road in a violent left or right hand turn, that is assuming your tyres have not worn right through due the -3 or more of rear camber :)

Goodluck and please make sure you check your insurance policy :)
