Starters, the "check if already posted" is extremely cool :D
Anyway I don't know who to pm/email when I got 3 automated pm's telling me some of my posts have been deleted, but they are still there, nothing wrong with the posts, a glitch in system?
Thanks for reading......

Ahhh....bit of apology here.
This may have been motomk at work! I have been compiling all the HOWTO threads into one. The original threads still exist.
I have copied them into the moderator section and then deleted a lot of posts from each thread. I have a feeling it may be sending out the deletion emails/PM's even though you can't see it.
Were the emails/PM's arriving at about 4am this morning?
The thanks buttons have been reported to the powers that be.

Indeed they were Mr Moto and it was a "How To" thread.

Here is a rough copy of the thread in question. It is still a work in progress.
I have only been able to go to a certain point with it as I run into forum limitations. Those being it sort of has to be a thread for the moment. I am not sure if it can go on the front page or not.
There are about 5 topics not linked yet. Seedyrom's x 3 and born2xlr8's plus Acer.

Cool! Be nice if you could create a How-to forum and put those and any new ones in there. I dunno how the whole forum stuff works so this might not be do-able.

A howto forum sounds interesting, just with these threads they get buried amongst other stuff over time.

Was thinking the same thing whilst scanning the compiled "How To" threads. How bout in the Technial Area a new "DIY-How To Guides" section be made? That way when users do a job themselves, like installing a cat-back or 2 hole mod etc all the guides are there for reference, with there own sub section for users to reply, give suggestions and thanks....
Just a thought....

There are legal implications to a How-To/DIY section which could leave the forum liable if someone injures themselves etc. following them. We are currently trying to decipher the intricacies of this.
