MAte, the following is from the OZRodders.com.au forum, could be of interest to you.........."Ok I am listing this for a bloke I bought the IRS from yesterday, the VT Commodore has traveled around 160K and as can be seen has a few parking dings that should buff out... hehe
But I am mainly listing it here for the V6 Motor and Auto which would make for an ideal donor for a Hotrod…
It is located at Goodna, Ipswich which is on the West Border of Brisbane - an hour from the Gold Coast and 2hours from the Sunshine Coast and Toowooba for those interested...
He does not wish to remove and Post any parts, as he needs to clean up his backyard by order of his landlord... (You don't wanna know how many cars he has back there trust me! lol)
The VT has Air-con, Power Steering, ABS, Airbag (intact) etc all the good bits which would make for a very comfortable and safe Street Rod/ Family Cruiser...
Main items missing are the IRS (Going under my Singer) - front Buckets, that is about it from what I could see, cannot be started now as the previous owner kindly drilled two holes in the bottom of the plastic Fuel Tank to drain the remaining Fuel...
But it hasn't spent anytime upside down apart from a few fractions of a second on its Roof where it landed on its side, then the occupants scrambled out and pushed it straight back onto its wheels to drive home...
He bought it to fit the Motor & Box into his Gemini, but has since changed his mind and is looking at fitting a TT Soarer Six.
He is asking: $700 for the V6 Motor and Auto with T-Bar Shifter and necessary Wiring for the conversion.
Or; Complete as it sits now minus the front Buckets and IRS - $800.00 Bring a Trailor and Tow it Home!
Email any questions to Loki at: lockie15@hotmail.com "
