hey guys just fitted my new 80mm bbk this morning ,and all i can say wooohoo ,i cant believe the extra grunt shes picked up example i went into an industrial estate, stopped ,and just floored it and she spun all the way through 1st ,all the way through 2 nd and started to spin in 3 rd,totally dry and in an a4 and the mid range she just pulls so hard,it went well before but for $400 bucks its like its had a second wind,i seriously reckon its picked up a good 10 plus rwkw, ive got a couple of pix if some body would like to post them for me.cheers:woohoo:

The TBA ones are better again. CHE do a heap of them as do a few other sponsors.

Yep, the TBA is a nice piece of kit, but they are NOT just plug and play as some would have you believe. My throttle cracker/follower and base idle settings had to be adjusted when I put mine on. Still, I'm happy with the purchase and it looks good, which is a bonus.
Cheers,

Some ppl seem to be able to bolt em on no probs. More so the 90mm ones than the smaller models. The 90's did get a small revision lately to fix a idle issue some ppl had.

no probs with idle here idles at approx1100rpm in park and approx 900rpm in gear,my original ported tb had a much bigger hole drilled in it to cope with the cam and i was a bit concearned as the bbk had a smaller one,but the bigger tb blade obviously compensated for it,ill still run her into hpf for a tune tweak though, but over all another excellent power gain for minimal bucks, couldnt be happier with the peformace this tb has given me.:)

Isn't that idle a little high, or is that due to the cam your running?

there classed as a bolt on ,im gonna get the tune tickled any way,so if the tuner can get even more out of it id be even more stoked with with $400 buck outlay, but as an un tuned bolt on it even surprised me.

Yep. The BBK's are a nice piece of equipment.
I've had tried a few in the 78mm - 90mm dia., size and the BBK come out trumps in every way. No mucking around with tuning no jamming blades, etc, etc.
Great growl as well.
Pretty good.
If anyone wants one, please send me a PM, as I know a good contact for these.
