Now that the WH has been lowered Ive got a bit of a problem with the mud flaps that are fixed to the rear bar. I like having them as it stops a heap of shit going up the rear of the car. Problem is they drag on everything like speed bumps, driveways etc & friday night found that going up in a 7 level car park I had to kick my mates out in the back of the car to try to stop it scraping (didn't work but mates got some exercise haha). It actually shaves the plastic off the mud flaps cause they're rigid & this also pushes the back bar up as they're attached to it. Does anyone know or have a set of flexible mud flaps that will be ok for a WH rear? Any help is appreciated as Im gonna have to take them off. Cheers......Wes (And yeah I could raise the rear back up but NOPE, thats not happening) :p

Raise it up a little maybe? :D I guess you either have to cop the mudflaps scrapping to have the low ride or go without? But I'm pretty sure you can get the rubber set they had available for VX-VZ WH etc for them. I'm assuming it'd be a one size fits all for the commodes and the statos. We always have the rubber ones on out vehicles cause the plastic ones tend to wear away or fall off to easily. And this on standard height execs!!

Trim them. I had mine dumped (320mm center of hub to guard) and it shaved 30-40mm off the mudflap all by itself :D

Haha :lmao: Ive got 30mm to go then cause Ive pulled about 10mm of scrapped plastic off already lol. I wouldn't give a shit usually but since winter the amount of mud & shit that they've saved going up the rear of the car. Main problem is their attached solid to the rear bar & they dont bend real good. I'll have to track down some of the flexible ones. Plus everyone looks when they hear this SCRAPE noise going over speedbumps etc. @ least our cars look wicked low :headbang:

The other thing you could always do, although this will require more effort, go to Clark Rubber and just buy some rubber of approx the right width and make them yourself. Definitely a wise idea to leave them on though, first few months I had my ute I didn't have any on it, sure I drive down dirt roads, but man I've got more chips up the doors and A pillers than bloody Smiths Chip Co has!!!
