Wheel fitment question for the gurus...

Can anybody tell me with a certainty if wheels from VT-VZ Commodores will fit a VS Commodore?:confused:

More specifically will the standard 16" wheels from a WK Statesman fit a VS Commodore without issues? I have a buyer for my wheels ready to go but I want to be certain nothing dangerous will happen to him by fitting my wheels to his car.

The VE wheels are the worry. On release, the factory made warnings about old Commodore drivers trying to fit the VE wheels on older models. The wheel studs are a different diameter, and the hub diameter are different.

I'm only new to the GMH scene. So don't rip on me too hard.

One thing that's always worried me about the VE wheels on pre VE models is that, although people are getting the centres machined out, what is everyone doing with the wheel nuts?
Using the existing VT-VZ style wheel nut has a smaller outside diameter, meaning the nuts sit quite a bit further down the taper, virtually right on the hub, if not actually touching it!
I'm waiting to hear of an insurance drama one day soon, unless small 12mm ID thread, but large VE outer diameter nuts are being made by someone to correct the taper location.

yep they wont be a prob all commodore range cars have a 5/120 fitmant
