VYII SS - What do you think?

Hey guys, just wondering if 26-27K is a good price to pay for an '04 VYII SS M6? According to the Ad, the car has low kays (didn't actually specify) and has a balance of new car warranty. Btw, the car is privately owned.

What are the chances of getting an oil burner or piston slapper in an '04 VYII? Should I get an independent inspection done? Thanks.

sounds like a reasonably good price,the chance of a oil burner is very minimal holden had the problem fixed by this model

You can't go wrong with an inspection.

Its in the higher range (normal for WA) but if its a decent car then you shouldn't have a problem. Get it checked out properly at WA Performance.

If it comes with leather and about 60k on the odo clock then the price is about right otherwise its abit high. piston slap/oil burning issues should be gone by vyii model but get a proper inspection by an ls1 workshop.

A series 2 and a 04 model. I think its a pretty good price. Get an inspection down and if all good, hand over check.

yeah get an inspection at a workshop. SGIO or RAC are ok but not really about the motor and condition. They are more 'Slight mark the size of a 5c piece on front left door 5cm below side mirror' :limpy: Not really what your after I dont think

I just bought an 03 s1 vy ss m6 and paid 29k. had 55k on the clock.

I kno i paid a bit much but i wanted black and manual..... and thats what it cost to get it :)
