Didnt have the opportunity to tick the LSD box on the Calais purchase. From memory it is only a $400 odd tick......DOH!! (bought the car as an '06 runout so no option choices)

What do you blokes think it would cost to put an LSD in it now?

In addition, what else would need to be changed? Surely the sensors on each rear wheel only go on what is happening re rotation and therefore the addition of a new centre wouldnt effect anything else?? (guessing now!!)

If the dealer said $400 and you got LSD it would be a no brainer...on that note I will ask tomorrow!

ive got a 2.92 ratios lsd from my ve ss. 2.92 is the same ratio as in the calais. im selling it for $750.it done abt 6000k's . i went with a diff from a manual ss (3.45) which i paid $1200 for plus fitting and oil
cheers.

you wont have to do nething except swap diffs as they are the same ratio. it will take around three hours with a handy spanner man.

yeah your right...the "sports v8" models or SS and SSV have LSD standard.
the "luxury v8" models calais and calais V LSD = option

Seems rediculous though.

Shame Holden all to save a few bucks.
