White VE GTS/Red Interior just purchased

Just bought a White GTS with red interior today. Thanks to all who provided feedback on the interior colour on the thread i posted a few days ago. Looks sensational in that combo and will post pics when i pick it up which will be in the next week or 2.

Red leather interior
Tint
3 year/45000kms free servicing (labour and oils etc...) worth probably $1k-$1200.
6 year warranty (if serviced with them which i will due to above)
HSV Mats are standard in GTS

Might do the Sat Nav later on if i have the cash as that was the only option i wanted but could not afford to do add on. What have people paid for doing Sat Nav once purchased??

Any Comments on the price?? i researched the other threads of GTS pricing before doing the deal so feel reasonably comfortable. May not necessarily be best price but the service i got from them was fantastic. Contact Feras Alma who is the HSV sales manager there. Good guy.

Sounds awesome, cant wait to see the pictures. I would have to say that white is my favourite colour on the gts. It tends to show off the details on them a bit more than the other colours. Congratulations.

Congratulation on the purchase, nothing better then being able to go into a dealer an buy a brand new car..and i think 75k is a reasonable price too.
All i can say is......ENJOY THE THING AND DON'T LET IT GO STALE BY NOT DRIVING IT! lol

thanks everyone. will definitely post pics as the car just looks awesome in that combo. most people here would love it. strange though. if someone asked me last week would you buy a white car with red interior i would have said no straight away but once this combo is seen it is hard to not love it.

mods....if anything will be CAI and exhaust then edit. But will probably wait till i get bored of the stock performance then do the mods to change it up a bit :)

What recomendations for the CAI? and also the edit?

With the red interior, does that include the dash also? or is it just seats and door trims?

The dash pad is black but the glove box and r/h lower insert is red.

if it was... sorry for putting my grubby fingers all over it, lucky i didnt sit inside of it. i was drooling over that yesterday mornign as i was dropping off the Z for a service.

damn it is a nice machine, good colour combo aswell.

oh and the free servicing is nice aswell... havent paid a cent for my last 2 services, however each time the tried the old injector clean, window wiper blades and also yesterday a throttle body clean... gave them a miss.

hsv gto thats a good price , i went to the same dealer 2 weeks ago and they quoted me 81k drive away with sat nav, auto, they also told me that they are willing to give you interest free finance on the car , i have half the money saved up and they said the remainder of the balance can be interest free.

suppose they charge more on the car and then approve your loan they have to be making some money from this deal because no one gives you interest free loans. there used casrs are severly over priced try to sell me a clubbie with 9k on clock for 69k u can get a new one for that price

Picked up the GTS last Thursday and have not had a chance to take pictures due to the rain in Sydney. In the meantime i have had a catback exhaust from Hi Tech mufflers in Surry Hills done and it is the best sounding exhaust with no drone. Just perfect. The quad 3 inch tips look great and fill out the tailpipe holes nicely. Spent the day giving the car the once over with the Meguirs crystal polish and carnubra wax. Will post the pictures up tomorrow.

I think that was the one I test drove when I went in there a few weeks back. It was sitting with the flags underneath the wheels just in front of the entrance.

I spoke to a nice guy in Brisvegas about a month ago and we were talking about his white GTS. He said he got $8000 off the price so thats why he got that colour.

Not sure if it was an 06 or 07 though.

photo's usually dont do white justice i reckon, but this looks sweet even in the pics .The thing about white i love is a/ that stark fresh race car look and b/ all the details bounce -the blackouts ,the badges ,the rims all the cosmetic details jump out at ya. Good work mate ,that is lush .:drool:

Looks brilliant. White lost favor in my books many years ago (VX) when i got a new white Acclaim instead of the Storm Gray that i asked for (company car).

That was until i saw a white GTS at the dealer recently and it looked fantastic. A great looking machine and the interior looks great with the white. It was a serious consideration when i recently ordered the R8.

congrats on the new ride. i flipped a coin when i decided on which colour to choose from between white and nickel. i ended up with nickel but think white is crazy too.

by the way how much did your exhaust set u back and how does it feel and sound?

did u get it dynoed prior to exhaust?

thanks to all for the compliments. i was unsure of whether to get SSV in nickel or R8/GTS but once i saw the white GTS with red interior i had to have it so had to find a way to afford it :)

jimmy_slip.....i am really happy with the exhaust note (deep rumble but not too loud), the tips and the fact there is no drone whatsoever. as for the power i did not get the car dyno'd before the catback so can't really tell exactly. for me the note and looks was what i was after more so than additional performance but that is always nice i guess. The CAI and tune will help that aspect.

i got the cat back exhaust from hi tech mufflers at surry hills. Lambros is the owner and has done my previous cars. they do exhaust systems for maserati, ferraris and most other prestige cars. the quality is great and it is full stainless steel. Lambros has spent a considerable amount of time developing the system since VE release. i am very happy with the system from sound, looks and lack of drone point of view. its the best system i have had on any car i have had so i am REALLY happy. Sonny felt that the Difilipo full system would have given me more power based on other GTS's he has done.
