Hi.
yeh it is not easy at all.
Best way i have found so far is to put
it up from the back. It has the same metal loops
as is on earlier commodores. Just pull the backrest up
& the back of the seat should pop forward.

Tilt the seat forwards & you will see where the seat connects in.
A cpl of plastic clip hold them in.
Use a screwdriver & push in the clip that holds it in..

Each side should just pop out.
Its not as easy as earlier commodores.
Just not sure why holden done it like that for..
But the seatbelt clips are bolted in.
Makes that part a lot easier..

Good luck with it.

Cheers Pete

There are 2 clips either side like you said.
Plastic lugs from the seatbase lock into female floor pan. Dont worry if you break a clip they are very tight.

Might wanna give the dealer a call early cos the clips would prob be exeast still.
