If I get one of these OTRCAI installed in my car, would It void my warranty if the holden mechanics see it when I go for a service? Thank you.

I plan to get a full system exhaust and OTRCAI, i just want to make sure there won't be any problems as the car's got 3 years warranty still.

I reckon it would depend on the Dealer, some wouldn't worry
about it, some might use it as an excuse to void certain
elements of your warranty. Pop into your preferred service
centre and ask. Glendon motors in Nowra did my O2 sensors
under warranty a few years back, they knew the car had an aftermarket
exhaust. I then had clutch issues rectified and a brand new gearbox
without question. Best to just be upfront and honest with them imo.

Keep your original intake tract and airbox and If you need to go to the dealer, pop all the original gear back on. Only takes 3mins, I do it just to be on the safe side.

i had the same dilema when i had the otrcai on the vxss.each time i took it off and put the car back to standard just in case they found there was a problem and would void the warranty.

Like I said, was a few years back now that I had my warranty work
done by them, may have changed a bit since then.
No way I would buy a car from them though, they wanted more for
a VT Series 1 SS at the time than I picked my Series 2 up for in
Sydney. I also do my own servicing, no point paying someone
unless warranty requires it.

Yep, the smartest thing be to connect your std., plumbing when you getting it serviced or making a claim.

Not worthwhile getting a 'knock-back'.
