VYII HSV airbox can it fit a VYII SS??

as the title states im just wondering if a vy2 hsv air box interchangeable with a vy2 ss as i read somewhere the hsv box copped a full redesign and is of better performance.

yes it will fit but some very basic mods to yours will make it just as good.

look up 2 hole mod and MCAI

Should do, structurally the cars are identical and HSV wouldn't move things like mounting holes for the airbox.

Yes they fit. I replaced my Monaro one with one, and VY SS used the same one as Monaro used. It's actually the same lower box, but with the Holden intake hole covered over, and HSV adding a big angled intake to an area cut out of the left hand corner.

Not on me, but a bit over $300 from memory..:eyes:
NVU were offloading some a while back, and they still regularly appear on ebay for far less than this.

The one I got from NVU about a year ago for my VZ was $44 from memory. Have seen a few on eBay, typically for almost twice that.

Unless you do an intake pipe as well, you wont notice any real difference.
