Latest MOTOR says they definately WON'T get it ... apparently HSV needs to amortise the cost of the LS2 over a few more years yet. They say LS3 might come along down the track a bit, but not anytime soon.
Of course, they have been wrong before ???

I thought I read somewhere in one of the US forums that LS2 production would be ceasing fairly shortly, now I know HSV could buy up some units before hand but what would be the point if the LS3 becomes standard in the Corvette.
Surely the cost is going to be similar (UNLESS GM do a "discount" deal on the outgoing LS2), fitment would surely be very similar as I dont think mounts etc will be changing so maybe just a retune of the ecu needed?
