Could anyone let me know if i will have any prob's fitting a VY 5.7 radiator into a VT 5.7, Does the over flow bottle hook up the same? Because i've noticed it has a cap on the VY radiator & its position is on the opposite side.

do you mean the radiator has the cap if so it would be a VZ item not a VY
there is a bit of mucking around to get it to fit
you will need the fans as well
you can delete the over flow bottle so you will have to change some hoses and the T piece

it will fit if you get all the VZ bit to go with it.

VZ is a better setup ad far as a radiator setup, less pipes etc. except you loose the low coolant warning alarm. this is a very handy item. A temp gauge will only give you one quick warning of of large loss of coolant. if you didn't notice it jump up, it goes down again quickly when it has no water around the sensor allowing time to damage the motor. coolant level is a much better warning of large quick loss.

temp sensors only work if they have coolant around them. until the head temp radiates so much heat the sensor picks up that heat. too late then, bye bye motor....pcm will cut power you say, no it see the same temp you see on the dash if that drops the pcm doesn't know either

As said above, VZ V8 had the cap, but it might also be a V6 radiator.
