Insurance Query

Hi All,

I'll be selling my car in the next few months, and just have a question regarding insurance for when people test drive it. I have full comprehensive insurance on the car, and I am rating one, and I was just wondering if it will cover anyone who will be test driving the car when the time comes, specifically anyone younger than me, or on a lower rating?

I'm assuming that it would only be the excess that would change if anyone was either younger than me or had a lower rating?

Any advice appreciated guys

may vary from company to company, but my policy covers test drives as long as im in the car with them and provided they are not charged with a driving offence.

My policy is with RACV.

they should have sent you a copy of their policy when you first insured the car, but best bet is to just ring RACV and ask. wouldn't want to risk something like that on someone else's advice.
