I was wondering if someone could push me in the right direction for a new VY HSV Clubby (LEFT SIDE) sideskirt?? the misses reversed the car into a rock and took a layer of the fibreglass off the leftside skirt. It can easily be fixed but would love to get it all done before the meet in Perth this weekend coming up. Can someone PLEASE help out with where to look for a cheap new 1 or weather i could get it repaired for in Perth for a decent price. Thanks guys.

If it's fiberglass then it wouldnt be a genuine HSV sideskirt. But iwould suggest most panel beaters could fix it for you

if its genuine, its plastic and most panel beaters will be able to repair it or know someone they use to repair them.

had VX SS sideskirts repaired by osborne smash repairs about a year ago...they sent it off to the guy that does all there work for that type of stuff...then they painted and installed it

Cheers guys for the reply. Well im assuming its fibreglass as thats what it looks like. The actuall skirting is still in full contact but half the word Clubsport has been ripped off. So now its just a Sport! If you guys happen to know maybe a contact no. for these guys that were used Dean, that would be awesome as im trying to get the problem fixed before the weekend.

Cheers for your advice again!

kurt they are pretty busy but its only a sideskirt so a day to repair and a day to paint so its possible for it to be done by the weekend
but every second shop in osborne park is a panel beater so plenty to choose from

good luck with it

cheers,

Dean

Another option if it is indeed a fibreglass (non-genuine) skirt is to go to Spoiler Factory or Spoiler Shop and get them to pop out a whole new skirt. Depending on the damage you may find it is an equivalent cost.

However, if is a genuine Clubsport I would try and get a genuine plastic skirt for it or search for plastic bumper re-conditioners/welders.

I would doubt you would get a shop to squeeze you in this week everyone is flat out. Best of luck though.

Also try,

Hey cheers for the info mate.As for the skirt im just doing some guess work as to weather its fibreglass. It is a genuine HSV bodykit as the car is a HSV. My mistake i guess. I will give them a call first thing tommorrow to find out if they can squeeze me in.

Thanks
Kurt
