Just trying to find out if you guys have got any upgraded brake packages for VESS yet. If so can you PM me some info and price. Looking at 6 spot fronts maybe around 350mm to 360mm and 4 spot rears maybe 330mm to 350mm.
Any info would be great.

Geese I hope they do have em for the VE. I have buggered my stock setup completely in just 22,000k.:bawl::vpo: I need something done fairly quick and was looking to the Harrops Extreme to match my driving style and give longevity of safe motoring.
ATM I need new springs, shocks, and brakes (brakes being the biggie) - this is not a "want" thing, I took it for a two day run over the weekend and the car is handling like a skatdoard on ice. So its now a "have to" do thing!!!! I have it in for a stopgap get me by fix this coming Thursday...
Hey Jim - as you have seen on many occasions, it was only a matter of time before the stock stuff had to give out. Its certainly blown my cam and engine mods $$$ out of the water mate!!!
I'll give Harrops a call today.

We are continuing our testing and validation on our development VE SSV with both brakes and superchargers.
Our initial kits will be similar to the "Monster" 4 piston and then the "Ultimate" 6 piston.
Now that we have finally received some wet weather we can now check to ensure the ESP programming as standard in VE will not be affected by the fitment of large brakes.
As with all our products we will not release them untill we are 100% satisfied with our expected performance.
We aim to have production volumes of VE "Monster" brakes by the end of September with the others following shortly after.
If you require any further information, feel free to contact me for assistance.

thanks for that Damian :bravo:
good to see you guys are researching and making sure everything is sweet especially with the ESP programming...lot of companies just throw some of there brakes on the market to get initial sales but look past the ESP, ABS, etc safety systems on these cars and how the brakes will affect the programming
well done guys and look forward to seeing what you come up with.
definatley will be looking into some nice big brakes in the near future...need some good stoppers for the track coz even though the VE ones are bigger and better than previous models they still dont inspire confidence when punished ;)

I reckon there has been more than enough time to test these kits ... 1 year after the car is released is just too long IMO.
AP would have there sets ready quickly because they are factory fitted to the HSVs ... and they are bloody awesome. It makes sense that those companies not supplying Holden / HSV would take longer ... but 1 year ??? Sorry, but I'm not waiting ...
Anyway ... hopefully everything goes smoothly from here for Harrop, it's amazing how often 2 months turns into 4 which turns into 6 ... just look at the estimated release date from last year.

Yep ... I agree.
However (in our defence) ... A year is too long if all the relevant info was available (& correct) when starting, and all assumptions made were sound. Unfortunately, sometimes the info we get and assumptions we make based on that info is not right, so we spend a lot of time (& money) working off false data. When verification and testing then highlights the incorrect data, we have to start again ... and having been "burnt" once we then spend even more time checking all the other info as well. :vpo:
(Enough whining ... I'll go now :soap:)

Fair enough ... I have no doubt that when they do hit the market they will be right up their with the best on offer.
