Sneaky buggers! I particularly like the rednecks!

Best caption hands down goes to "West Palm Beach Police officer Terry Golden, a.k.a. "Officer Delicious," :)

Looks like to much use of laser / radar guns makes you fat and ugly ....

Should be a public health warning .....

some pretty cunning disguises.
I wonder if you got out and decked one of them if you'd get done for assaulting an officer, or just ordinary assault?:jester:

The vic police have started doing this already by getting rid of there bright yellow fluoro vests and putting on orange construction vests instead.

They were doing this yesterday in Dandenong here in Vic......

Sneeky little buggers...!!!!

In Picture 4, the guy is in a cherry picker, isnt there a set angle you've got to be at to get an accurate reading, or is that only for multinovas and the vehicle mounted radars?

Seriously, who would volunteer to cross dress in that type of manner - unless it was a life & death matter. I think that maybe he gets his rocks off by cross dressing.

Yes and no. The highest reading would always be between the two closest points, i.e directly coming towards or going away from the device, at the same level. It's all simple mathematics, cosine effect. ANY angle works in the motorists favour. However, too high would be useless for getting an accurate reading as a back up to your visual estimate, for the reasons above. They look to be nearly the height of power lines, and that is a long way up.

Remember, this is in Florida, USA. They have different laws over there. Try google ing Florida legislation, and radar. I'll even give you the statute number, 316.1906 .

Cheers

Glen

P.S - Officer Terry Golden aka "Officer Delicious"? Now there's a man who loves his job just a LITTLE too much, or it's part of some rookie hazing ritual.
