To be 100% fair, they were off the road, just. The truck was driving in the emergency lane. Absolutelly horrible really.

Why just P Platers? Just because a person's been driving for 20 years doesn't mean they know the horrors of the road. I was 15 when I came across my first fatal accident, with my mum driving. A 40 something year old lady was driving to Corrigin (my home town, only 2 and half hours from Perth) and was about 5km's out when she fell asleep on a straight section, drifted across and had a head on with two local 18 year olds in the one ute. Two more P platers killed on the roads, racking up the stats, even though they did nothing wrong. I've also come across a crash where a bike was traveling at (they think) twice the 100km/h speed limit, a car went to pull onto the road, looked right and the bike was ages away, pulled out and bang.
I've always held the belief there should be progressive driver testing. Pilots have Bi-Annual tests to ensure they haven't picked up any "bad habbits". How many drivers do you see out there with bad habbits?

I think all drivers should be subject to a full graphic video showing fatal + bad injuries for road accidents... Then they will either need a straight jacket, or, they will take the road a little more seriously...
When i did my First AID/OH&S at TAFE, we had a guy that was an ambo officer for 20 years show us a photo album and tell stories for about an hour, it bought most of the 25 students back down to earth, myself included... To be honest though, it didnt completely stop me from speeding, i was just knew what i was risking... Those days are long gone...

NO IDEA IN HELL what brought p-platers into this, but lets leave it out ey?
Back to the truck issue, a mate of mines dad was pulled over in the emergency lane cause he heard a noise, checking the engine a truck hit HIM (not the car) and flung him into the car and down the emergency lane!
Lucky for him he survived, a few weeks in hospital etc ... but the truck driver got off scott free ... weird sh!t...
And as for the motorbike clip, just unlucky i guess it slipped a lil from under him n sent him across the other side like that, but he was clearly driving unsafely, and the worse part is, the innocent guy on the other bike!

Truck was a long way out of his lane.
Have you seen how QLD police park behind cars they pull over on the M1. More offen than not I have to give the air horn a quick toot so they don't get cliped. Sometimes I think the cops are more stupid than the people they are pulling over, who in their right mind would stand on the fog line in a 110kph zone.

If you listen in at the end you hear one of them say, "They're gone".
