G'day,
Im may have acquired a VZ Monaro bonnet and front bar to put on my VU ute. I am aware I still need headlights, grille and driving lights. But I have been told the bonnet will not fit straight on, as there needs to be modifications to the bonnet hinges and around the cowling. Is this true? has anyone that has changed the front over found and problems?
Cheers.

You will have no problems with the bonnet, hinges or cowl, as VZ Monaro is basically the same bonnet with vents pressed into it.

See below. All bolted straight up. But you may have a slight problem with the foggies/parkers, as VU's parkers were in the headlight. Whereas monaros are in the fog light and I think the headlight aswell. not 00% sure. . I had to wire the foggies and parkers up to the same switch (parker switch). But you can add another switch if you want which would solve the problem.
