Hey Guys!!

Does anyone know or have working the Aeroforce gauges with a VZ 6.0L with L98 motor?

Which version/model number did you purchase?

Do all features work?

Cheers

If the VZ L98 still has the OBD2 bus and not the CANbus they should be fine. I'm not sure on that as other VZs (apart from HSV I believe) still had OBD2 but the L98 in VE is CANbus. I can't see Holden changing from OBD2 to CANbus within the same model so am guessing you've got OBD2.

If you don't know hopefully one of the tuners or someone else with a VZ L98 will know.......

Aeroforce have now come out with the CANBUS compatible gauges, might be worth checking their webpage.

Even better! Looks like all he has to do is find out which bus he has. If ODB2 just specify that they are for a Holden as the standard/original Aeroforce gauges didn't interpret the Holden error codes properly but they addressed that eventually. However, I'm sure he'll need to specify that they are for an Aussie Commodore in order to get the right gauges.

No idea whether the same problem exists on CANbus i.e. Holden using non standard error codes, so if it's a CANbus system he will need to do some more investigating. Did Holden use standard error codes and if not are there CANbus gauges that interpret Holden's error codes correctly?

You can email Todd from Aeroforce Technology (http://www.aeroforcetech.com/GM-order.html) for orders at admin@aeroforcetech.com

Todd has told me this via our emails back in March:

The cost will be $399 US plus shipping of $10 if sent through the post office.
We prefer to ship UPS or FedEx but I know that can get pretty expensive on your end.
I don't have a standard CC account, but I do have a Paypal account that accepts credit cards.
We can also do a money transfer to my bank, or send a check or money order.
I'm waiting for our latest production run to arrive, we are currently sold out. I'm supposed to get this next run of gauges next week.

My gauges are in and they are bloody good ;)

That'll be VZ utes and wagons then on the VE release?

I believe the change had something to do with the emissions standards changing as well as them already bringing in the L98 for the VE.

Its ridiculous how much more they are charging over here for these. Let us know if you get an email reply back.

Did you also ask for a metric version?

cheers
