id just like to say a big thank you to gary for all the work he has done. from when i first got the car up until now he has done nothing but look after me and i wouldnt go anywhere else because of it. his service is second to none. ive been f*cked around before and he is clearly the best. with these new laws my cars gonna be out of action for a little while which saddens me but when its back it will be back bigger and better. anyway thanks for the great service gary, your a top bloke

Are you talking about the new P Plater laws ?
That only refers to P platers that get their license after July 1 2007, not for exisiting P Platers.
Sorry if I am guessing the wrong thing here. But I think that is what law your referring to.
cheers
:)

true, but i was never spose to drive my car under the old rules apparently (which would result in $110 fine). now it results in 3 demerit points and upto an $1100 fine. trust me mate, ive called vic roads numerous times, ive spoke to the cops etc....guys in 5ltrs around town are already getting rolled

Ohh, I see - well yeah P Plates and a gen 3 dont go together at all ( legally ).
Well good luck with your non driving period - I hope it flies for you .
I am pretty sure P Platers can still drive 5.0 liters though - something about power / weight ratio.
My good mate is first year p plater and drives my old VN 5.0 Calais.
From what I hear that is legal , cause its a heavy Calais.
whereas and Exec 5.0 would be a no no.
Tell me if I am wrong .
cheers :)
