VE R8 Run in procedure

Hi all, Just after any advice re. run in advice for VE R8 M6. Thanks in advance.

I fitted twin turbos to my VE SS with 80km on the clock. Its nicely run in at 10,000km now....... :)

Yeah only way to run it in good is strap some turbos on it

1) Drive it sedately until the engine reaches normal temperature
2) Give it hell.
3)Give it good fuel 98 octane at least.
4)dont baby it
5) Enjoy.

im no pro, but this is what i did

Make sure its warm then make drive it as hard as you can! Dont baby it!

I had my E series R8 at Wakefield park lapping 1:15 in 40C temps with <1000km on the clock... Had it at the drags prior to Wakfeild to run 13.5

It pulled 235kwrw after those outings
