Cheap New Holden Parts

Hi all,

Is anyone able to recommend somewhere cheaper than “The Local Dealership”? (I’d look outside of Melb. if freight inclusive is cheap enough).

I've just been on my lunch break to discover a large puddle of coolant in front of my car and am preparing for the worst …. Grrr.

Disclaimer: sorry if this is considered spam, but I did use Search for “cheap” and “parts” and got through about the first 7 pages w/o finding a relevant thread.

Im with JT i always use Preston motors Dandy for parts & they even give Me great price's over the phone aswell:)

Do you guys not have distributors over there for parts etc?

Over here we have AMCAP, so i go directly to them and get trade price.

Holmart and NVU are great for certain parts (usually things that people pull off before delivery that they purchase direct from dealers) but don't have anywhere near the full range of parts. Given your SE Melbourne location I'm with the other guys who've said Preston Motors in Greens Rd Dandy. :yup:

Depending on what your coolant related puddle turns out to be another possibility is just take it to a radiator place. They have their own sources for parts (not necessarily genuine parts, but not necessarily crap either) and will probably do the whole job at a far better price than you buying whatever parts and having someone fit them.

WOW! Thanks so much guys! My uncle is a mechanic and got me prices from his Repco agent for me. He said “these are the price I can get your parts for… if you can find them any cheaper, go get them.”

Preston gave me Dealer price and blew his Repco agent out of the water /GASP!
