How do I see the fuel filter in my vp holden 1992 v6 to get to it because I cant see it under the car just past the drivers side rear axle on the engine side near the fuel tank. do i have to jack it up to see it and if I disconnect the battery will I upset the alarm and ecu or not

It's up in the hump in the floor there, so you have to get underneath. You need to depressurise the system before removing these. Best way is to remove the fuel pump relay whilst the motor is running, which will drop the pressure and stall the engine. Replace the filter, then refit the relay and start the engine.

how hard will it be for the engine to start and do i have to flush the block when i put in a new hd radiator and put new coolant in

Electronic fuel pump pressurises the system up almost instantly, so motor should start virtually as quickly once the filter has been replaced.
Normally you just shove the hose in and reverse flush the block under high pressure.
