Imagine seeing this driving home in peak hour traffic on the Monash freeway. Probably wouldn't be able to land, too many people in the right hand lane failing to keep left. :p
Video after the jump.
Look out, coming through (http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2007/07/video_of_a_wwiiera_airplane_la.html)

Officer: Do you have any reason for speeding?
Pilot: Speeding, Occifer, I was slowing down.
Officer: Mate, I was doing the limit and you FLEW past me.

They interviewed the pilot on one of the US morning shows shown on Channel 10.
He was on his way to Oshkosh, he also knew the owner of the campervan on the side of the road who was coincidentally replacing a flat tyre.
It is what the video doesn't show that is the amazing thing.
If the police car filming it had a rear view camera they would have seen the pilot had to bounce the plane over the camera car as it came down too quick for all of them. He actually flew it into the ground harder so it would bounce over the police car.
