Hi guys, I was watching a thread earlier (turned into a chit fight, and i wont mention any names) and was wondering if this type of thread is deleted very often. It seemed to me that one member voiced their opinion(and does often) of what our laws and our law enforcing officers are all about. The other posted about an alternative to the common law known to general population and as soon as that was done the thread disappeared. Now im not saying one is right and one is wrong but it doesnt appear fair that this happens as soon as someone thinks or lives outside the SQUARE everyone abides by. I am not condoning vigilante activity by any means but i am sure that 99% of us would take action if our pride and joy was damaged(or our safety was in harms way). Especially when the police/government say it is a civil matter and cannot do anything. I dont want to start another slinging match but it seems our laws protect the criminals not the victims, and this does not sit right with me!
P.S. Bring back that thread it was a good laugh!!!

The thread was removed for cleanup of some rubbish posts, and will be returned when completed. Offering differing opinions is one thing and welcomed (provided it is done sensibly), but the thread went too far off the original topic and needs a bit of "pruning"
Threads are occaionally moderated, or closed at times, be it temporarily, or permanantly, if they become abusive, insulting, or do not abide by the forum rules and reg's that we've all agreed to, or simply just go completelly off the rails.
They do not get shut down or moderated for opinions, differing or similar, as that's what the forum is all about.
My bet is the posts that were removed were probably personally attacking, or abusive. If the entire thread is not there, then chances are that it will return shortly.

Thanks for advising this XLR8 V8. I do agree it did go a bit of topic but was a little funny. In my opinoion both party's got out of hand. All jobs should be left at work and not forced on others after hours.
Cheers
Thanks for the info Dug
