I'm not to sure how many Harrop blowers we have fitted and Sam has tuned to date, maybey our mate Damien can give us a total count one day soon :)

What sort of price are you looking at for supply and install of the intercooled H122 ? Including tune etc.
Just a ball park.

As far as I know they have passed the emissions test and been engineered. Of course there is an added cost but more and more people are asking for this to be done as part of the process.

I was seriously looking into the whole "engineered mods" path.

Whilst the bit of paper would be nice and it MIGHT sway you some favour, in reality, it doesn't mean anything if pulled over and questioned.

You still need to prove yourself if told to put her over the pits.

That and the $3,000 emissions testing is a little bit off putting.

Sure, if you could round up some people with the identical engine/cam/FI setup, you could share costs, in my case, i'm running an aftermarket cam shaft, which is a little unique.

Of course, you could always lie about your engine setup to get it through, but then you still need to prove it once canaried. Back to the whole, it has little worth, factor.

In this game you've gotta pay to play.

EDIT: NSW isn't as easy going as some other states (e.g. QLD) when it comes to "mod plates"

when i got my car defected and had to do emissions it didnt cost anything. apart from a waste of a day and petrol to drive to botany and back.

They had a stuff up on the paperwork and installed an eggbeater instead of the hairdryers.:lol:
