I'm after some 18" VZ SS rims for the SV8 and was wondering where the cheapest place to buy them would be. Do only Holden sell them or can you get them elsewhere? Only looking locally not interested in getting them freighted.
Cheers.

Motortraders in WA can do you brand new genuine VZ SS wheels (18x8) for $300 a wheel. They might do you a good price for a set (4). Rim part number: 92123123...Wes

Good luck getting a set of 4 tyres for 400 bucks?
Honestly, Tempe Tyres is a good deal IMO, freight can't be that much of a big deal surely..

You get what you pay for and tempe are generally "cheap rims" that require a kg of weights to balance them. Then they are wrapped in "cheap tyres".
I want genuine rims with good quality tyres on them.
Plus the rims dont have to be new Id be happy with second hand ones in good nick

alot gets said about poor old Tempe tyres, I myself never had a problem when dealing with them over the years. I am sure if you ask them if the rims are Genuine & you are then told they are, well then I reckon you might not have the problem of chucking a KG of weight onto them. If this does not suit you why dont you go & give forum sponsors Holmart or Payless tyres a call. I am sure they could help you out. Holmart sell the rims only for $960 inc GST, while I notice payless have the rims & tyres for $1550 with Nankang NS2 tyres
There would be a few places with these rims now I would think.
Or try Ebay

Yeah try to find some on ebay that are in your area. There are heaps of guys selling off their genuine rims and tyres after upgrading.
Or just browse the local trading post and classifieds.

That's fair enough. So no, I haven't. I know people that have and have had a good experience. But as you point out I can't guarantee that since I haven't personally :)
Cheers,
Dan
Try Wheelking, Holmart, Payless. I have brought rims from all of these Guys & all have been great, latest was 20's & tyres from Payless this week He ships very quick & offers great service

I think i saw a set at Associated Tyre Wholesalers in Osborne Park. I may be wrong but if what you want is what im thinking of i reckon he has a set. Yes they would be second hand but cant hurt to go have a look...or a phone call.
Good Luck.
