Any image can be re-sized, you just need the right program. Not sure if Windows / Microsoft Paint will let you, but Adobe Photoshop or similar will allow you to resize images.

You can email it to me and I'll resize if you like (just PM me) or post it up in the thread and I can copy it from there.

On animated avatars, ive never been able to get animated ones to work for me, any particular reason for this, the one i have set now is meant to be animated, but seems to just stay still....... Can anyone help?

Go into the Edit Avatar section of your UserCP: http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/profile.php?do=editavatar

Click the Browse button in the Custom Avatar section and select the animated gif file on your PC, and save the changes.

To be animated, the file must be a GIF file within the 80x80 pixel and 39.1kb file size limits. If the pic is larger than 80x80 the forum software will resize it and save it as a static image file, so the animation won't work anymore.

Download Virtualdub here:
http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Virtualdub

Then Try this:
File -> Open Video File (open GIF)
Video -> Filters -> Add -> Resize (set size)
File -> Export -> Animated GIF

Cheers

Any chance of having a larger than 80x80 avatar ?

That would be one for the boss (Sidey). The current restriction for all validated users is 80x80. That restriction has been in place forever, so now that we have a better faster server he may increase it to 100x100. I'll leave him a msg and see.
