Hi,

Im just about to purchase a VE SS-V Ute, but holden's site doesnt show any tray area dimensions, just wondering if someone with a VZ could give me a rough idea of the opening width, as the VE's are supposedly bigger anyway, but i just want to check and make sure my quad will fit in the back (it should, but i just want to double-check) it does fit in an XR6 ute, if that's anything to go by.

Look foward to the response...

(Also this is my first post heh)

Cheers,

SiriX

The VU-VY-VZ have got a bigger tray than the equivalent AU- BA Falcons . So if your bike fits in an xr6 it will definately fit in a VZ and therefore a VE should be easier again .

hope that helps

1230mm between the tailgate opening.
1800 from the rail thing under the window to the inside of tailgate
2100 from firewall to tailgate

Hope this helps.

G'day all,

A bit of topic, but i have recently purchased a VY Ute:), and after searching the site and reading the owners manual, I'm still to find out where the jack and wheel brace is kept? The tray itself has a tub liner and I'm assuming it's all kept in a storage area on the side of the tray?

Thanks in advance,
Damo

Also, behind the passenger seat is the elbow bar for winding down the winch for the spare wheel.
