Our VE Senator's air conditioning unit constantly makes a croaking sound. Does anyone else have the same problem? Whats causing it, and how can Holden/HSV fix it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it similar to that? I'm not being silly either...they sometimes like car rides.

cheers mate. You askes a serious question but your choice of words (croaking) has left me with a sore gut from laughing so much. As soon as I read your post my mind went balistic with funny scenarios. LOL!

I'm not trying to sound funny but thats the best word to describe the sound. And for the record there is no "frog" stuck in the car.

Could be one of the motors or doors in the unit that move things from mode and temps etc. Could also be the fan motor, could be anything really including a frog.
If it is in the A/C box, out comes the dash to fix it.
Is it only when using climate control in auto or A/C on manual?, is it comming from inside or outside? i to am confused by the word "croaking".
Best bet would be to take it back to the dealer and please report back so we know.

The noise is really prominent when the car is stopped at the lights. The sound appears to be coming from the passenger side of the dash board, and sounds like a flap or something opening and closing. The climate control is always set on a specific temperature, and never on "auto". I have also noticed that sometimes fumes from other vehicles can be easily smelt with recycle "on". Maybe it has something to do with that flap not closing.
