Spent the last couple of days loitering around the Vic Dutton Rally here in Shepparton.

Darren decided to hedge his bets for a win of some kind from the Sams Performance stable, and entered 3 cars.

The VZ, the VX and the Coupe 4.

Been a bloody good couple of days with some serious driving as well as a bit of fun stuff occuring along the way.
I kept hearing some bloke that they referred to as Bigdaddy, continually say, "I'll go a bit easy this time", and then he blazes the tyres and punches the rev limiter like a prize fighter. Love your work!! A true testament to the abilities of Sam to screw a 412 together that can handle the amount of abuse this thing has had over the past 3 years.

Im sorting thru some 300 pics from the today so Ill post some up shortly.

Pic 1 and 3. The bloke they called Bigdaddy.

Pic 2. The Coupe 4

Pic 4 Is Jnr Bigdaddy.

Thats the first time I have seen him airborne :p

Takes a lot of force to get my fat asss airborne.

Yes I ran out of ability before anyone asks what happened, but still ran a 1.25 with this little adventure.

The funniest thing was, the girl doing the photos told me Jason the other photographer was on turn 3. I said ring him and Ill lift a wheel for him as a joke and she laughed. I hadnt planned to lift all 4. I honestly thought the camerman was toast as I was heading straight for him. He held his ground though.

Hey Darren,

Yeah, Jade called me and said you were going to put on a show, well you certainly did that...

I was safe though - I had an invincible guard rail in front of me, and a 4 metre drop behind me.. :eeeik

I'll make one of them up as a poster for you - which do you want ?? the Take off.... or the landing ???? LOL
