Without going to coil overs, what choices is their for a higher spring platform strut aftermarket that will allow wider tyres pre VE? Seems most are just standard platforms aftermarket.
I've asked in another thread but no answers came.
HSV struts are shorter with a higher platform, but to get something slightly better than hsv what options are their, anyone come across anything?

I found out i had a bent front strut last week. Replaced the pair with the pedders sportsrider ones for $230ish a peice. Not sure how differant they are from standard ones, but there looks like there might be a little more room with the 245/35/19's under it than before.
I can take/post a pic for you if you like

thats thats ok i just called them to ask yes the sportrider range does have a higher platform height.
not urgent on getting them, tyres are not worn out yet and just had a wheel alignment. so won't be looking to change for a while yet. just doing some research ahead of time.
thats one option, any others?
strange not more around for hsv's aftermarket, would want to have large hsv wheels and replace the shocks with holden spec struts.

I think the Adventra front struts have a higher spring base. PM NickH, think he has used them

a point when going to higher spring platforms, to keep the current ride height will have to get lower springs again
