what sort of pricing is around on head gaskets and head bolts?

Found the head gaskets are about $200 from holden or Repco.

Head bolts are $400 for the lot 3 sizes/types 16x$20, 4 x $6.50 and 10 x $6.80.

what other supply alternatives have you all come across esp on the bolts?

I brought my ARP Head bolts from VPW

$267

Cheap and you can reuse them, just need to get some ARP Moly grease

They come with the torque settings sheet for 10w40 oil and the ARP Moly grease. Use their grease (get some its not expensive and Rocket Ind have it, small tube will do and it can come in handy just dont use it on TTY bolts) and I didnt have to retorque either but you should cycle the bolts. say torque and undo and retorque a few times on installation
