I don't know if it has been nmentioned on these forums?

HP-F are proud to be sponsoring a new show on Channel 31 called Gasolene.

Too bad we dont have CH31 here.

That SS is insane. And watching the tire flex was pretty cool too:bow:

Episode 2 was on Tuesday night at 9.00pm had more of BLO402 on the dyno..

Watched the show on tuesday night. dad was watching it in the lounge all i heard when blo402 came on was "FFFAAAARRRKKK LOOKAT THE SIZE OF THAT":rofl:

^^^ i agree with that guy... gotta start watchin this show!!.. 1239.3 rwhp... bloody hell i love that thing... the turbo on it is freakin massive!!!.. im guessin thats what i hear at about 5:30 - 6pm on some nights??.. gotta see it person again some day.. i love it... are visitors that live 5 mins walk away allowed to see the cars??.. lmaoo...

New season of Gasolene is on thw website above. The 1st of Jan episonde shows BLO402's con-rods...They resemble an 'S'! I'm on the 8th of Jan episode now, which details a dirty big straight 8 ship moter!

Anyone watch it on 31 last night? Excellent coverage of the first day of the Summernats! The rest in coming weeks.

Just a bump as a reminder that Gasolene is on tonight. Featuring the finals of Horsepower Heroes. Should be an excellent watch for those that get Ch31!

I LOVE watching gasolene and i have followed the entire series including the build up on the cars.

I watched last night and was glad to see hpf still involved in it.

Next question are you guys still going to be on there? with more project cars?

Yes HPF will be involved all season. The crew have been out here filming in the last couple of weeks, expect to see much more of the boys and the cars. Tim Holmyards TUFSS3 should make it to the screen very soon, make sure you've got the volume up because the noise is incredible!

Not sure if its on up in Brisbane yet. In Melb its on Tuesday nights at 9pm.

You can also see some episodes on the c31.org.au website. Go to TV NOW and Gasolene. I beleive the three Summernats episodes are on there at the moment.

I think you're confusing Cruizin with Gasolene. I actually prefer Cruizin myself. More tech and How to's from old school builders.
I think Gasolene has very limited content, pads out segments with slow titles and extended music clips, lots of Dyno time at HPF and the chick that hosts the show knows SFA about cars and is only there 2-3 times throughout the show.
Needs lots of work IMO.

caught last nights show with blo 402 at the nats, probably a repeat is it? keep forgetting to watch it each week. TV usually on HD have to switch to normal to get TVS.

1,5xx HP was a good run.

TVS has good car shows

Gasolene tues 7.30pm syd (good)
crusin tues 8.00 pm (ok)

classic restos wed 8 pm (good)

4wd tv thurs 7.30pm (good)

better than the us type shows with all the hype and bull...

All stations are now playing older episodes, although this may be the first time they have been aired in states other than Melbourne.

We have stepped up a little with the new season, with a bigger budget, more cameras and a different layout. Two episodes are complete with more in the wings, however we are unsure when this will go to air.

HPF are no longer associated with this program and are in the process of putting a new show on C31 called Oz Garage.

As soon as we have an air date I'll post a thread and put a preview online.
