Seems he would like to explain his side of things.


Hey guys.. a quick message from the grave.

Just a quick heads up to Ryzz - bud you suspended (24hrs) me for clowning round - fair enough, no problem - curious how no one else was however - surely you don’t have anything personally against me?

Secondly - As I was now suspended from a thread where other people were able to continue to put it on me (which I have zero issues with - god knows I deserve it :) the bloke from work that lives with me logged in to view it - subsequently he was (innocently) banned for life as was I. Maybe a quick email/Pm to ask why there was a second user logged in from the same IP before the blanket ban and sarcastic Bye Bye Pagey comments would have been prudent. Seems like another case of IP detective work gone bad - again.

Does this mean that a husband and wife logged in from the same PC will also be banned? Curious...... Maybe Statie & Mrs Statie should also be banned under this logic..?

Either way - live & learn.

Phantom Menace is suspected ;) to be ROBSKI from SA. He was banned last week Seedy.

Pagey was banned last night so I'm guessing not.

OT ... my understanding is once an IP address is banned, ANYONE who tries to log in using that IP will get the same banned message ... I think :confused:

the power has seriously gone to ryzz's head of late and sadly its for the worse.


ryzz started out to be a great mod, and definately earnt his position, but lately, it seems everything and anything that simply doesnt suit his mindset get deleted and incurs bans.....

i know im not alone in thinking admins should review ryzz's actions of late - and possibly slap him with a ban.......

Well, someone better explain this. Pagey is a fantastic contributor and a good bloke. There is no reason for him or anybody else to be banned on a technicality or for personal issues.

obviously he didnt kiss the ass of the #1 moderator enough.....
maybe he told it how it was and didnt sugar coat things.....
who knows, but it seems that he ( ryzz ) is rubbing many people the wrong way.

If pagey wanted to email us, he is more then welcome to, here is not the place to post such a thing.
Pagey was banned for a period of time due to some comments made in a thread that were a little over the top.
He was then banned permanantly for a breach of multiple account rule as we do with EVERY user that comes up as having two accounts and we await them to explain why they have done so, the bits that NO ONE here see's and is always quick to jump to is that we ban first blah blah, but mr ROBSKI is registering on other forums as certain members usernames and has emailed us with the ither users name that was suspended as Pagey's other login, so all you people quick to jump up and down and cry about how RYZZ banned him, get the freakin hell over it, I would have done the same thing None of you have the facts and until you do, cut some slack because we have to put up with allot of shit to keep the forums sane, and ill say it again, dont like the way it runs, we haveno fences keeping you here.

Here here ... the mods keep playing the "poor us" card ... if they keep us this stuff they won't have anyone left to moderate, maybe then they will be happy for a change ???

The members make LS1 what it is ... not the moderators ... agree or disagree, I don't care. You can tell us all we are wrong if you like, but the general consensus here is pretty clear.

I agree. Bring back Pagey! He has probably given me the most laughs on this forum over the years sitting in front of the computer with an ale in hand with his out of left field posts. Sometimes they go a bit OTT but then those posts can be deleted. It will become boring without these characters. It's an internet forum for crying out loud. Sure, a high standard can (and usually is) adhered to but banter is part of it. Unless someone ceaselessly posts derogatory/insulting comments; reveals confidential commercial information; defames or libels, I can't see the problem.

What has been done is no different to how any other user is treated only this time all there friends are having a cry about it.
A small coincidence that after someone is banned within minutes a user with the same ip logs in...

no one was replaced, you seem to think you know it all, but you dont, so why not stop typing.
This thread has bugger all to do with RYZZ, its about Pagey's ban, just because RYZZ banned him its his fault? NO, we acted on reported posts and reading posts. would it make any difference if I banned him? probably not until he can explain why he has two accounts... end of discussion.

I would also like to point out that Ryzz is probably copping more of a hiding now as he is a very active moderator and as a result ends up being seen as the bad guy when he has to enforce the forum rules and policies. He follows the same rules and procedures that all mods must follow and as Haroc said if he had not done it then one of the other mods would have. His ban notes could have been worded a little better but it is a stressful role being a moderator.

Moderators do not usually act on threads/users unless reported by their peers to the moderators. Ryzz's actions were in response to numerous reports from other forum users and the forum software picking up an attempt to circumvent the ban.

Please note that if you get into a flame fest in future that we will give both parties for a timeout regardless of who started it. It takes 2 to tango so to speak.
