Hello my cars a vp holden 92 sedan v6 and remember I said before the steering wheel is a bit tight to steer well I bought a grease gun to keep for services and today I looked at the car and the bushes are cracked and split.

Then I grabbed some grease and a knife and spread some on all the ball joints and bushes on the front end and its about 80% better still got to grease the ball joints in the rack and one of the rack boots are split as well.

Also I thought about greasing the joint that the steering wheel column connects to the rack to see if that makes any difference.

Do I need new bushes in the steering and I also need a new rack boot for the right side

Where the hell is Kadina?
Checked the fluid level?Belts tight?Eactly which bushes etc cracked/split?
Or just buy some new ball joints & rack boots.I just did the VL wagon, cost me about $30 for parts + a steer alignment.
You can do this yaself in an hour or so.
I think there is a slack adjuster of sorts in the steering rack its self?
