they arent cheap... i remember a while ago at a hobby shop over here in perth there was a smallish turbine powered RC jet hanging from the roof with price tag of a cool $45,000.... i think i would prefer a new car....

That would be unusual for one to cost that much...

You can get a turbine trainer plane in the air for just a few thousand dollars these days, they're fairly common place.

A turbine helicopter can be had for around the $7000 mark.

Got 3 turbine planes. There are only 3 ways to get your rocks off. The sound of a v8, the smell of burning jet fuel, and well....beating a Ford is in there too.

Was looking at a propellor RC plane about a year ago for about $1000, but other plans took precidence.
