Cheap car storage in Adelaide

I have a friend who is travelling O/S and we are going through the pros and cons of selling vs storage options.

Anyone know of places in Adealide that will do a good deal on long term (2 yrs) storage of possibly up to 2 cars

Depending what your friend drives I will "look after his car" for as long as he likes. :-P

But seriously I know people who have stored their cars for 6 months or so when they were away on work, but never 2 year. Not even sure who would do it.

I can "store" them John....... plenty of room at my place, they can go with the rest of the cars im not allowed to drive, and the ones that dont run.......

What does he need exactly? I know a few people who may be capable of storing them for long periods but it depends on what he wants for them storage wise, does he want them started? climate controlled? Or just under a car cover in a corner somewhere and left to their own devices?

how long is it really possible to even 'store' a car? Not hijacking the thread but im off to dubai (possibly) for 5 years, apart from giving it to my olds to drive every now and again to keep it ticking over (ie 30mins once per week), is there any probs with storage for long periods?
