vt camber kits

hey all, any vt owners know how many kys there getting from a new set of tyres after fitting super low springs, do the rear camber kits actually help or not, ive heard so many different stories im not sure what to beleive.

I've got a VX1 and the tyres only lasted about 10,000k's before metal was showing on the inside of the tyres. I've had the camber kit installed and it's done around 5000k's and still looks as good as new. This is without superlows, if I had them it would have been even worse!

(VX1 has the same rear end as VT2)

I suspect mine was exceptionally bad though. It got worse the more k's I did!

Without a camber kit don't expect them to last long. I did a trip to Adelaide and back from Darwin with a fairly full car and destroyed a set of tyres on the rear.

Have only just got the 4 point camber kit done and the car feels better and it's obvious how much straighter the rears are.

Had Fulcrum at Capalaba fit a set today as the VX SS II was eating tyers badly, i see how these go.

yeah i just bought a set of super pro fulcrum of ebay before (lets not start about ebay again though:) ) paid $120 for them which i thought was ok. can i ask how much they charged you to fit them up leather? i just got told mermaid suspension are ok for this job too. water under the bridge i hope:)

They do a great job. Had them roll my guards after i lowered mine. I have the super pros also. Dont know a good price though my suspension (springs and camber kit) only cost $400 installed as a mate who does it for a living in victoria was up and did it for me.
