What a great video. Thanks for posting it.

I'd like to read more about the car if the info is available online.

That car just spanked the entire field.

Well done fella. Looks like the setup is spot on for Mall laa la.

I don't remember that last time I saw a Centura, but I do know
it wasn't at any track. :)

Good stuff.

Glad you couldn't make the track day with us mortals at Lala...that thing is insane.

In the video you made some of the other cars look like they were going backwards. Nice drive.

Yeah it goes well, it runs a 36mill restrictor on the turbo to keep the V8 boys happy:bawl:, all the fun is over at about 6500rpm. With the restrictor removed you get another 100 hp and a wider powerband dont know how long the 195/60/14 tyres would last though

gotta love the sound of the turbo spooling up coming out of the corners!!!

Mate, that's all good. But seriously it's not that remarkable when it appears that car has about twice the straightline speed of most the other cars!

It sort of reminded me of Grand Turismo when you take your fully bombed STI or RX7 and race in the beginners cup!

Admittedly it is obviously not a one trick poney, it appears to a be a pretty well sorted chassis as well, but really............

That's why I love parity regulations in the Supercars and Porsche Cup etc.

None the less, a good drive with some good race craft displayed...

he was coming from rear of feild, so he was passing class a,b,c cars, most cars he passed where in the same class d and there is parity, the turbo cars run a turbo restrictor and can only run a certain width tyre. Most of the front running cars are within .5 sec of each other and the racing is always close. I run class A and we have 6 cars within 1 sec of each other, its grassroots motorsport where the guy with the best engineering and some driving talent can win, not the biggest budget.

Give me variety over parity any day, we have early model cars to late model evos, wrx etc . Also one make classes are extremley expensive to get near the pointy end, some of the commodore cup, HQ, and saloon car guys at the pointy end spend a fortune to get the smallest advantage. We could run our 4 car team for a year on the budgets these guys spend on 1 car.

Heres a link to the cars in our class
