banging noise with gear change

hi guys my VX clubby makes a loud banging/ thumping noise from under the passenger side wen u are givin it a bit from 1st gear to 2nd? is it just unburnt fuel backfiring in the pipes or is it something more

Check your tailshaft bolts. Being a VXII, the rubber donuts could also be worn allowing for some backlash

Could also be the trans mounts... while you're under there checking the tailshaft mounts, check the trans mounts too.

And check your exhaust isnt banging the underbody.

check engine mounts as i have seen a few broken one`s and the zorst hitting the floor:eyes:
