Will VY 11 calais 17 inch rims fit a VP calais with IRS?

I thought all pre VE Commode rims were interchangeable right back to VB, or at least certainly VN (ignoring the fact that in some cases you may need guards rolled).

I had genuine HSV VT champ rims which I put on my old VS SS and I had to run a spacer on the front as it hit my struts due to a different offset....

from memory the VNs do have a slightly different rear offset, but typically yes, they should be interchangeable.

One problem you are going to encounter is the dust cap on the front wheel bearing being too long and pushing out the centre caps on the rims. All pre VT cars run servicable bearings, and post VT has sealed units, so no dust cap. You can sometimes get around this problem by tapping the dust cap in with a hammer lightly until the centre cap fits, but this doesnt always work.

But overall, the rims will fit fine from memory
