hi all

i have a dilemma

borrowed the ol'mans hiace and i have lost the only key in existance for it

at present its blocking my driveway so i cant get the ss out cause the steering locks on:flipoff::vpo:

its an old '84 model

hes gonna have my nuts for it

whats a locky gonna charge me for this job?

Call a locksmith and get a quote :)

Of course, nothing like a good old screw driver to break the steering lock and then any old key to start the worn ignition barrell

Take the door trim off and take the door lock barrel to a locksmith. It will be cheaper than a call out fee. Some older jap cars also have the key code stamped on the door lock barrels.

The barrel should only be held in with a u type clip on those old things.

I had an old Hiace that would open with just about any key..
