View Full Version : VE Tune Tweaked
Wonky

After he'd refitted my KPM exhaust on Monday Chev noticed on testing it that the car had a bit too much timing in some places so he got me to come back on Tuesday for a tweak to the tune (done by someone else).
He did an initial 3 runs, then put a new tune in that he'd worked on and :yahoo: big difference! The new tune picked up 17rwkw and a heap of torque over the lowest initial runs and 12kw over even the best of the initial runs.
Even though it's an A6 the old Wonkymobile gets down and boogies pretty well now! :burnout: Also picked up better economy too as a bonus by the looks of it!

Excellent mate, good to see the progress on the tune and some more RWKW for you.
WTG Chev!
Bet you are glad to have your zorst back on as well.
Thanks boys. The L98 engine is sure coming up with the numbers. The LS2 gang are not as happy. I have tested the CSV DTI and have grouse results. Will be posting up shortly. Give us some feed back on fuel economy Wonky

Hi Chev..

Thanks jezz. I reckon with a long tube 4:1, high flow cats, she should make some good numbers.

You mean mine? Was contemplating going for the new bigger Blingstractors but having to lay out for a new rear bar and painting/fitting put a hold on that..... :bawl:
Fuel economy has definitely improved but not sure how much is due to going back to Ultimate from Boost98 and how much is the tune.

Fair comment Wonky. I went from boost back to Ultimate due to using more fuel with boost. Will be good to do a comparison with BP in her
