Hi All,
Long time visiter, first time poster.
Recently purchased a VYII SS which has a Nokia 112 bluetooth car kit installed. Last owner has misplaced the manual with the pairing code.
I have done some reasearch and found that this code can be found on the "brain" for the car kit which I'm 99% sure is located somewhere behind/in the dash however buggered if I know where. I have looked in all place's that I can see without removing any parts of the dash.
If there are any installers or cluey people around where would you place the "brain" in a VYII SS?
Thanks

Unsure of that mate, but with any of the BT car kits ive had the pairing code is either 4 zeros - 0000, or 1,2,3,4. Good luck..

Yes, that is defiently what you are looking for, the 2 places i would look would be under the steering wheel, behind the panel you can pull down, the other and its a little more work but still easy. Remove the kick panel from the passenger side of the console, there are a few screws one near the seat and i think 3 at the glove box end. Behind that is where the power for the car kit will be, foillow that to the box, its about 200mm x 150mm or so. It will most likely be cable tied in but you should be able to get to it. Good luck, have a go, its not too hard, just thinking about it you may have to remove the glove box....but im not sure, again really easy, has a pin you pull out on the right side and it will come out but you may not have too.

Hey it will most likely be under the radio area in between the 2 side trims.
Remove the glove box (it will pull out), then remove the 2 screws on the RH trim to drop it out of the way. Should be an empty space behind that trim where the module will sit. Only place i have ever seen them installed.
Hope that makes sense and helps.

G'day Shan84.
Just so happens that I came across my bluetooth black box the other day.
Mine was or is sitting on the transmission tunnel basically under the radio and stuff.
You need to remove the glove box, then two screws to remove the side of the console revealing the box.
I'm trying to remember how i paired my phone, but know luck yet. If I find the instructions (i never throw anything away) I will post it up for you
Cheers Fridgy
ps. Mine was supplied by Holden if that makes any diff

This is how I found mine too. After going to an audio shop to know if they would know the code to pair they told me it is the last 4 digits of the serial number and its on the lil black box thing. Once I found the unit and the serial number off she went. Good luck

Yep. I installed mine on top of the tunnel and adjacent to the glove box too. Fitted snug.
But, I had heeaaaps of trouble with the cradle. Had a 3310 and it played up for ages. I then bought a 6220 i think it was. Had to buy a new cradle as they were different. Again kept playing up. Phone would never charge and as you talked to someone the phone kept cutting in and out. In essence, the phone would be sitting in there working or it was not in there at all. My mate had the same problem with his too. I ended up pulling it out. Biggest waste of money and very frustrating.
