Not sure if this is the right section to ask this, but would anybody know what size it would be? l'm sure most teams would grind their own to suit their needs.

From what i've read, many of them do get their own custom grind made. However, i'm quite certain the lift on them is around the .600 mark.
I don't think you'll find too many teams (most likely, none) sharing the specifics though.

Are they a solid roller? I would guess so from the revs they pull.

remember they are 100% race cars so good road manners is of no importance. Watch one drive past at walking pace with the driver slipping the shit out of the clutch and you'll see how much of a pain something like that would be on the road.

watching em drive through the pits is entertaining, listen to them backfire and crackle :D hehe.

According to my book on them, they do use a solid roller

I'd say that would be due to the ultra lightweight flywheel more than anything. From what I've heard they actually arent that bad for driveability.

The last Wanneroo round I went to I could not believe how driveable the cars were , one of the HRT cars was fighting its way through a massive crowd to get to scrutenering and was crawling along without much grief.

Spose like most things it comes down to experience.
Everytime i've seen the supercars at Wanneroo, they've been towed by a ute to and from the scrutineering?

When i was on the K2 ride with the Kelly brothers they had a cam on a demo board, the cam has flat walls :1peek:
Looked something like this when looking from one end, but the walls were dead flat

The car was certainly not daily driver worthy, but, like any big cam, you can rev it high and use the clutch to make it drivable...
