Chev's first batch of VE RipShifts arrived and are now all gone! More on the way however. These are $589 supplied and fitted (About and hour max for install)

This is the race version being installed..

Straight forward install and a great feeling shifter!

Everything came required for the install inc instructions which are all embedded in Big Robs head now :)

Most of the OEM components are used which eliminates room for errors

Nice work on the install guys.
VE Ripshift is the Hot ticket item at the moment..
Glad you love the 2nd to 3rd shift that is unique to Ripshift.:)
We are about to run ours down the strip again and welcome anyone who would like to feel the shift action.

Top job from Chev's

Great work again Chev and Big Rob. I'm glad you like the Rip Curtis. If it's anything like the VT-VZ version, it will be grouse.

Cheers,

Macca

Hey curtis,
Hows that beast of yours travelling??:bow:
Just a quick one on how do you find the everyday driving of the rip shifter.
I know they are renown for their upshift accuracy but how do you find the random up down shifts in traffic to be. Are they as good as the standard or slightly harder to manage as i spend alot of time in heavy traffic and i am seriously thinking of fitting one to my car down the track.
Just gathering info on what to do and what order to do for my car mods(The blue firetruck:rofl:)
I know ive driven yours but i behaved through respect and was knocked out on the power of yours to notice the great shifter , i think:rofl:, so thanks again and would be great to hear of your other mods too not that im copying you but what size bolt holds your diff together. lol .:bow::bow:
Cheers,
Andy.
ps. if you didnt already read my other dozen posts my truck gets the xforce extractors and highflow cats from chev fitted on tues so let the 300+ kw club look closer:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Ahh Andy your enthusiasm is world class and it is great to see others get as much enjoyment and excitement out of modifying their car and the journey that goes with it..

The ripshift is a great piece of kit. I drive the car everyday in traffic and if anything, the rip makes life with a manual even easier than the OEM setup.

Day to day driving its great.. on the track its even better.

The latest version of the street/race is spot on!

Glad to see the bling headers are on on the way too!! I'm saving up for a set of the stepped headers for sure.
