Hi Guys,

I planning on a section for Chev's website where we have a little blurb on each Forum Members ride. As I do not have photos of everyone's ride that is also a Chev's customer can I ask that you please email gary@chevsautorepairs.com.au a 600x800 picture of your car if you would like to have your ride on the website?

Also please provide the following info(in the email) (similar to the wall of fame)

Name (Forum Name) + first name
Current Ride/s: i.e VE SSV
Current Mods:
Future Mods:
Current RWKW's:
Favourite thing about hanging out at Chevs: i.e KFC :)

I will be keeping this up to date as often as possible ;)

g'day all, this is my first post, ive been reading for awhile but now im a member, basically i joined to say im a big performance car lover and its just hard to find a good place that does mods to your car, but after a lot of searching i found a place called CHEV'S AUTO REPAIRS in carrum downs after a lot (and i mean a lot) of phone calls about what clutch to put in my ute they where always very helpfull, when the clutch went in it was everything mr chev described and more. when it comes to do work to your pride and joy i strongly recommen d checking them out 9776 8833 VERY VERY pleased with the work done and im sure you will be to

Yes mate, just waiting on a fix in that section so I can add more cars in or another page for all the VT - VX. If I add more cars the page goes a bit funny. All good and your ride will be up there soon :)

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to say thanks to Gary and the team at Chev's for the work on my VX R8 clubby the other week :bow: After months of searching the forum, and a phone call to Gary, I decided Chev's was definitely place for me. Gary and the boys performed a MAFELSS tune plus installed an ORRSOM OTRCAI, which when matched to my 3.5 inch single cat-back exhaust, sounds and runs fantastic. The tune and OTR made a big difference in power and torque, my car used to "chirp" between gears, now it basically flicks out sideways :) at WOT with the power button on/traction control off. Fuel economy is still not great, however, Chev has assured me it will improve once I do a bit more cruising between 70-80kph. My experience with the crew at Chev’s was fantastic, just good, honest advice from people who obviously know their stuff. No trying to talk me into other modifications, although, Chev did mention that a single turbo would fit nicely into the spot left by removing the old air box, filter etc! I will definitely be taking my car back to Chev’s in the near future for new valve springs and high-flow cats, and who knows where to from there. Once I get some good photos (after the respray), I will definitely send my details and pics to Gary’s email so I can be added to the website. Thanks guys, and I highly recommend Chev’s to anyone else. Cheers, R8Ryan

I'll add to this list seeing as now i'm officially a customer of Chevo and the crew. Took me long enough to come down for a service. Thought it needed a propper service after my regular guy who appears to not check everything. Thanks for the service big Rob and the Pedders bits and getting me the bits in on such short notice.. Front end feels much tighter now and went a treat up at Bawbaw on the twisty roads.. I half managed to keep up with the sedan boys hehe.. I'll have to come back down and run the wagon on the rollers and see what it makes now at the back wheels after the service and my change of catback. Maybe even get a piccy of the wagon up on the website :)

Anyway good service and friendly guys there always willing to answer my dumb questions that I probably could find the answer for on the forum.. Thanks guys.

Yeah Im officially a Chevs customer as of the last month. Took my Monaro in for a service and got all new bushes throughout. The car now drives like a brand new car. Gary even fixed a couple of small problems that the car has had for years. Its now 100% again.:goodjob:

Even better if you're a Chev's customer and we don't have your car on there - email me the info and I'll be pleased to add it!! :yup: Plenty of nice Chev modified/tuned cars are yet to appear on the website. Even if they're stock or close to it as we need to let people see Chev caters for everybody! Email me details preferably in the format used by all the guys on there (see for example http://chevsautorepairs.com.au/ls1-forum-members/ve) plus pics.
